The Committee is delighted to advise that booking is now available on the website for the 36th Annual Dinner of the Society. As previously advised this year’s Dinner will take place on 5th November, 2026, and in a change from prior years, will be taking place at the City of London Club. After many years at the Honourable Artillery Company, we felt it was time for a change of venue - we hope this new setting will freshen things up and help to attract a full house. 

Ticket prices have been held at last year’s level of £120 and wine is available to order separately.

This year’s speaker will be Tiggy Pettifer (nee Legge-Bourke) - many will know her as the former nanny to the (then) Prince of Wales, but she is also a keen fly-fisher and a fund raiser for the Atlantic Salmon Trust. Unsurprisingly, Tiggy’s selected charity will be the Atlantic Salmon Trust. We will conduct the customary auction and raffle with proceeds going to AST.

In a new development for the Dinner we will have a “wine sponsor” this year with wines being supplied by renowned S African producer James McKenzie of Snow Mountain Wines. James has kindly agreed to make a special offer to Members to buy his wines at very favourable terms – you do not need to wait until the dinner and this offer is available forthwith. The wines are fantastic and represent great value. A link is provided on the website.

When booking your tickets, please also select the quantity of wine that you would like to have on the evening.

The capacity at the City Club is somewhat smaller than the HAC so numbers will be limited – in addition, we are considering making tickets available to members of the City Club after a period of priority booking for LFS Members – so please book early to secure your tickets. Bookings are welcome for full tables (ten), smaller groups, or individuals and you are welcome to bring guests who need not be Members of the Society.

We look forward to seeing you for a fun evening and the opportunity to meet old friends and to make new friends – it is the once a year chance for Members to get together to celebrate the successes of the Society. Please join us!

Wine is not included in the ticket price - please order your requirements for wine for the evening at the time of booking your ticket(s) which will be debited along with ticket purchases. The selection will be visible on the booking form after you have confirmed your ticket purchase. You will be able to add to your order but not remove previously ordered wines.
